- なんてったって、マウイといえばクジラでしょう。海岸線からクジラをみているだけじゃなく、もっと、知りたいと思っていってみました。何年か前に行った時は買い物の途中でブラリと立ち寄っただけだったので今回はホエラーズ博物館に行く為に、ビレッジに寄ってみましたってカンジです。やっぱクジラを生で、自分の目で見て下さい。そして博物館にも行ってみて下さい。いろいろな角度からの見方ができると思います。ちなみに私達はオプショナルツアーでクジラをみてから博物館に行き、翌日もまたクジラを見に行ってしまいました。(ぽん)

- 以前は入場料が必要だと思いましたが、今は無料なんですね。 ショッピングの合間にちょっと一息気分で立ち寄れて、展示品は子供にも興味が持てるものだったようで、良かったです。
ホエラーズビレッジに行ったら、絶対のお勧めコースです。マウイでは巨大なザトウクジラがとても身近な存在だってことを感じますよ。(PONTA)

- 沢山資料がありました。とっても近くで見れるので 英文が読めなくてもダイジョウブです。 隣のショップでは鯨の骨（若しくは歯）のアクセサリーとか
売ってるのですが、日本へは持ち帰り出来るのか不明です。。。 象牙と同じ感覚なのでしょうか？？？ くじらの骨模型前でシャッターチャンス。
ビーチからのサンセットが良かったですよ〜(あっこ)

- 入口にあるショップで、鯨の歯を使った置物や、壁掛が売ってました。オットが、歯を購入！・・・結構、高いのでちょっと驚いた。
日本語での案内もあって、英語はあんまり出来なくても大丈夫。ホエールウォッチングをしたのなら、是非見て欲しい。

- 日本語で説明が聞けるレシーバがあり非常に便利。ただし15個ぐらいしかなかったので大勢で行くと入手できないかも。

the unique art that he can create out of sand.

- 今回はじめて行ったホエラーズビレッジのミュージアムも感動？物でした。って言うか人間の残酷さを感じてしまいました。あの油の染み込んだ鍋やヒシャク、銛など
等。普段あまり考えたりする事が無い人間なんですが考えちゃいました。 日本にもくじらの博物館（水族館）が有りますが、捕鯨を真正面から表した物ではなかったのでカルチャーショックにも似た衝撃を受けました。ショッピングの合間に見
ても面白い物ではないでしょうがお薦めのスポットです。(Tosi)

- いろいろな展示物やフィルム上映など、クジラの生態やマウイの捕鯨について知ることができて、子供と一緒に楽しく見ることができました。説明文は英語なのですが、日本語ガイドが聞ける棒？があったので子供にこれ何？、なんて書いてあるの？と聞かれても答えることが出来てよかったです。前日はショッピングをしたので駐車は無料でしたが、この日は博物館だけを見に来たので、+Hawaiiさんのクーポンが役に立ちました。日本では忙しくて博物館などなかなか行く時間がありませんが、マウイでこういった休暇を家族過ごすのもよいものですね。（テン）
